The US president jetted in tae Glasgow Prestwick Airport in Ayrshire on Friday night, landin just afore the back o 8:30pm, tae a crowd o folk keen tae get a keek at him.
As he stepped aff Air Force One, Trump was met by Scottish Secretary Ian Murray, who gave him a warm handshake at the bottom o the stairs. Trump looked chuffed, dishin oot smiles like sweeties.
He then strolled ower tae the press pack, gied a few quotes, and bigged up Starmer, callin him a “good man”.
Efter that, he jumped intae his heavy-duty motor – The Beast – and headed aff tae settle in for a chilled weekend at his plush golf courses in Turnberry and Aberdeenshire.
The visit’s part o a four-day stop in the UK, wi folk expectin some high-profile chinwaggin between Trump an the PM at some point soon.
